About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Boca Raton, Biergarten brings the authentic spirit of Germany to Florida with a vibrant mix of German cuisine, live music, and a bustling pub atmosphere. This lively spot at 309 Via De Palmas #90 is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience that marries hearty traditional fare with a dynamic social scene, perfect for both food enthusiasts and live music lovers.

The cuisine at Biergarten is a celebration of classic German flavors elevated with fresh ingredients and bold twists. Signature dishes like the warm, soft Pretzel served with rich cheese dip invite you to savor each bite, while the Bratwurst and Wurst Platter deliver meaty satisfaction with perfectly seasoned sausages that are both juicy and robust. The Chicken Schnitzel paired with tangy Sauerkraut and the tender Veal Schnitzel showcase authentic recipes that transport you straight to a Bavarian table. Don’t miss the Apple Strudel — a warm, flaky pastry filled with spiced apples, complemented by a scoop of creamy ice cream and whipped cream for the perfect sweet ending.

Beyond its German roots, the menu thoughtfully includes crowd-pleasers like Steak Sliders, Honey Sriracha Wings with just the right kick, and Brisket Grilled Cheese that meld smoky and cheesy flavors beautifully. Those seeking lighter fare can enjoy vibrant salads such as the Chimichurri Steak Salad or the Grilled Asian Chicken Salad, all designed with fresh, bold flavors that contrast delightfully with the heartier plates.

Biergarten is also a destination for beer aficionados, boasting an impressive draft selection ranging from classic German brews like Bitburger Premium Pils and Hofbrau Dunkel to popular craft picks including Funky Buddha Hop Gun IPA and The Tank El Farito. The 32oz Dunkel Beer glass alone is a tempting invitation to toast any occasion.

The atmosphere here perfectly complements the food and drink. Customers frequently praise the spacious and quirky interior—a large hall with soaring ceilings and charming decor that echoes the authentic vibe of a German biergarten. The laid-back yet lively ambiance comes alive on Fridays and Saturdays with live music performances that have become a local favorite. As DJ AJ Falcon observed, the energy created by the music, the courteous service from friendly faces like Antonio, and the welcoming crowd make each visit feel like a genuine escape to Germany.

Guests appreciate the attention to happy hour specials, with deals that won’t break the bank—Howard Blitz highlighted the unbeatable $3 bratwurst and $1 sauerkraut combo, paired with a refreshing happy hour beer for a satisfying meal under $15. Whether you’re stopping by for a university event, a casual dinner, or a soulful musical evening, Biergarten’s spirited community vibe and robust menu ensure you’ll leave feeling both nourished and uplifted.

In summary, Biergarten isn’t just a place to eat and drink—it’s a lively gathering spot where traditional German flavors meet Florida’s energetic nightlife. From the comforting crunch of the pretzel to the bold notes in every beer, every sensory detail here invites you to slow down, savor, and enjoy a uniquely vibrant dining experience in Boca Raton.

Absolutely LOVED this place and recommend you come visit! There's live music on Fridays and Saturdays, which is when I visited as I was off from working one of my DJ gigs, and I really loved the vibe of the place, decor, service (courtesy of Antonio and sweet hostesses), and fellow patrons there. Really nice people! It really feels like a Biergarten in Germany. The food was pretty good, and as you might imagine almost by definition, a huge beer selection. It's in a very nice, upscale strip mall, so maybe get here early to check out some of the other merchants, and to find parking which looks like it could be challenging, although there is valet parking available for only 10 bucks. Really enjoyed the live entertainment courtesy (that night) of Apache Dragon that played a cool mix of Classic Rock (including throwback Santana tunes I have never heard a live band play) and Funk. There's a decent sized dancefloor, and guests were out there shakin it!! Lol there's also a newly remodeled upstairs available for small private events. Highly recommend!!

Best bar pie EVER! Chicken bacon ranch was one of the best I’ve had. Just get it. Dark n stormy was great! Cold beer! Atmosphere laid back with lots of character and space.

We made a quick stop for the Wurst Platter and Apple Strudel. While they weren’t the best we’ve ever had, they definitely hit the spot and left us satisfied. The sausages were hearty, the potato pancakes crispy, and the strudel came warm with ice cream and whipped cream. The space itself stood out compared to places we usually go: a large hall with high ceilings, quirky interior details, and a cozy Bavarian vibe. Multiple TVs showing sports make it feel like a fun, casual place to watch games with friends, probably even a great Super Bowl hangout. Venue equipped with stage, suggesting there should be a schedule for events, worth checking. Overall, a solid stop for German fare and atmosphere. Worth a visit if you’re in the mood for comfort food and a chill beer hall vibe.

First time visitor. Came for an university event and had a blast. Forgot to take pics of the pretzel with cheese, wings and pizza. Great beer and wine. Will have to return.

We went on a Monday night while we were visiting and found out that their special for that day for happy hour was $3 brats!! They weren't small either. The spaetzle was amazing as well as the hot pretzel.

Today I came with my husband for a drink. He took the Paulaner Pils and I took the loaded Schofferhofer with grapefruit radler and absolute grapefruit vodka. I loved it!!! It reminded me of the radler I used to drink in Germany. We had as well a side of the onion rings. Very tasty! Next time I will come to try the bratwurst and the pretzel.

A great find! Good food, great service! Shout out to our server, Gabrielle. She was welcoming, friendly, and efficient. We enjoyed our meal even more because of her! We went back the next day for beer and pretzels. Sitting at the outdoor bar in the beautiful weather, enjoying our pretzels and beer, was a treat. The bartender was friendly and engaging Our only regret is that we won't be able to go again because we fly home to VA soon.
